About the event
Yoga with Jaina and Khao Suppers present Santosha. संतोष
Coming together for the first time, we present seasonal yoga and supper club sessions to take you through the year. An afternoon of whole body and mind wellness, Santosha is a new four-part collaboration series designed around the seasons.
Join us for the first summer session, where Jaina will guide you through a cooling yoga practice inspired by her deep knowledge and experience. Afterwards, Punam will set the table for a cooling, Ayurvedic-influenced meal.
Santosha is the Sanskrit word for contentment and happiness — a feeling that captures the essence of what we hope you’ll experience through each session. We invite you to join us as we journey through the seasons, beginning with a grounding and cooling summer yoga practice designed to support your wellbeing throughout the warmer months.
Moving away from heat-building power flows, this session focuses on cooling, restorative movement and gentle twists that detoxify the liver and small intestine — areas where summer “heat” can often accumulate.
Our menu mirrors this approach, celebrating seasonal produce with naturally cooling properties that bring lightness, support digestion and nourish the body without compromising on flavour.
This is part of a four-part annual series exploring practices for inner and outer wellbeing throughout the year. Below, you’ll find details on the programme, menu, and more about Jaina and Punam.

About Punam Vaja - Khao Suppers

Khao Suppers weave together dishes and stories from founder and head chef Punam Vaja’s childhood. Through a series of supper clubs, pop-ups and brunches, each menu is a celebration of the rich background that forms her identity; a first generation born British Indian with roots in Gujarat, Mumbai and East Africa. The food evokes nostalgia and familial warmth that harmonises tradition and innovation.
Founded in 2018 with a humble supper club run from her home, she has taken her brand Khao from East London to the East coast of America to Portugal and even Bombay. Creating experiences that share Punam’s love of food intertwined with stories from her childhood, each event invites you to come along to expect the unexpected and maybe even recognise your own story through the food.
