Spice Workshop with Khao Suppers | HOST Leyton

Join us for a series of Spice Workshops at Host in Leyton this July. 

The oral tradition of passing down recipes and methods for creating staple dishes has continued from generation to generation. This is no different when it comes to seasoning our food. The use of spices in Indian food is legendary and Gujarati cooking, it's no different. With just a handful of ingredients, it's possible to create something delicious and filling, without the need to do anything too fancy or have any advanced skills!

During this two-hour worshop, we will explain some of the popular spices used in Gujarati cooking, how you can use them in your own cooking and  join along as we do demonstrations. 

We'll be talking you through key spices and how we use them, sharing tips and ideas on how you can integrate them into your food and a demonstration. Guests will then enjoy a selection of small plates, which will be crerated during the workshop and leave with a goodie bag of spices!
