Maa - Mother's Day Supper Club with Khao

Maa. Mother. Mum. The giver of life, she is tough yet soft, a mother's love is unlike any in this world.

This March, we're hosting our annual supper club paying homage to the mother, so whether it is your mum or a mother like figure, we invite you to bring them along for a special 5-course Gujarati inspired supper club. For this edition, we present a menu featuring new dishes we've been wanting to share with you. Think of classic recipes presented in a new way, flavours you already know but in a fresh new form.

MENU

Welcome Drink

Peach Sherbet. peach, lemon juice and jaggery. served over sparkling water. 

Canape 

Makai. burnt corn, charcoal shell, lemon & red chilli.

Starter

Amar, Akbar, Anthony. pani puri, dahi puri, sev puri.

Third Course

Where’s the Thepla? fenugreek tart, curry leaf paneer. 

Fourth Course

Crimson Fire. tender grilled watermelon, ginger & black sesame rice, kokum-watermelon dashi.

Mithu Modhu

Jamun Mess. a desi eton mess: gulab jamun topped with vegan meringues, vanilla & cardamom whipped cream, fresh berries & berry compote.

Dietary Requirements: The menu is primarily vegetarian, with some elements also vegan. We can offer fully vegan menu but not gf. The food is prepared in a small kitchen and so there may be trace allergens. Please contact us for more details.
