Khao Suppers JAMVANU

The Gujarati word JAMVANU has a range of meanings, depending on the contextual placement. Whether used to describe food or the act of eating, to want to eat or otherwise, it is used in several ways! From as early as we can remember, the word JAMVANU for us has become associated with the act of gathering at a family member's house for dinner. 

The dinner often marks a special occasion and includes the gathering of multiple generations of family members. At the centre of the gathering is the food. Guests are served a feast with tantalising, classic flavours and traditional dishes alongside more modern favourites. 

On Saturday 10th September, Khao presents JAMVANU, a supper club inspired by many family dinners and the shared joy of a heartwarming meal. Guests can expect a specially curated four-course menu inspired by a classic JAMVANU, sharing tradition through our personal interpretation. 

We return to the beautiful East London venue, Potter & Reid Cafe in Spitalfields. The menu will be shared a week before the event and will feature vegetarian and vegan options. We can also consider other allergies or requirements, so please state these when purchasing your ticket.
