About the event
Khao Nights: A series of casual dining experiences where we bring punchy Gujarati street-food flavours to the table.
Join us on 27th February as we welcome you to a casual evening in East London, sharing three courses that explore tantalising flavours from the streets of Kathiyawad. From Porbandar, the Port town to Jamnagar, the home of tie-die, we bring a menu full of flavours, colour and fun!
M E N U
Tikha Ghughra. A famous street-food from the streets of Jamnagar, these are spicy and fluffy half-moon shaped pastries topped with chutneys, roasted peanuts and crispy gram flour vermicelli or sev.
Dabeli. Originating in Kutch, Dabeli is made of a spiced mashed potato filling mixed with a special Dabeli masala, topped with pomegranate seeds, peanuts, and sev, all stuffed inside a soft bread roll and toasted with butter.
Khaman. Gram flour Dhokla are steamed and served with a tableside mustard seed and curry leaf temper. Served with two choice of chutneys for the table.
Kachumber. A refreshing salad made of beef tomatoes, onion, chickpeas, cucumbers and finished with chaat masala, coriander and mint.
Something Sweet
Kulfi in a Kup. The classic ice-cream on a stick, Milk is infused with Ginger, Cardamom, Fennel & Mint and set in a freezer and served out the cup, street-style!
