About the event
You know it as daal but at home, we call it daar.
Gujarati tuvar daar (yellow split lentils) is a blend of tangy and spicy flavours with a subtle sweetness. What differentiates our Gujarati daar from its other counterparts is the cooking process and the texture. Each time we share it with our guests at a Khao Supper club, it never ceases to amaze us how people react to it! Join us for a casual week night feast where we share a three-course meal starting with a selection of Gujarati small plates, followed with a hearty bowl of daar bhaat (daal & rice), finishing up with dessert. The full menu is plant-based and family friendly!
We return to hom dalston, an intimate cafe in Dalston Junction, and are hosting this over 2 nights.
