About the event

Chalo Jamva (Come along to eat) with Khao Suppers this April as we share a new menu for our Springtime supper club.

When we first started this little journey we're on, this is what we called each supper club. Just like the word 'Khao', which simply means eat, Chalo Jamva is a way to call someone or to nudge them to come and eat, or to get started!

There are over 30 cuisines that hail from the Indian subcontient. You've probably had a lot of North Indian food, maybe some splashes of Bombay street-food and who doesn't love a hopper or dosa?! But there's so much more and one of those is Gujarati food. It's what we've grown up to enjoy. It's simple, underrated and so wholesome.

Since we were first taught to roll our first rotli to the first time we did a vaghar (a temper), we've always been amazed at the simplicity of spices and the level of technique it takes to create even the simplest of dishes. With each Khao Suppers club, we hope to bring these flavours and dishes to you through some of our own interpretations. With our April supper club, expect new dishes we've not yet shared along with classic flavours close to our hearts!
