MAKING CHAI IN THE CUP

Our ready made blend makes it easy to create a cup of masala chai to suit your preference. With this blend of Assam leaves, you can use a smaller amount of the mixture for a lighter chai.

You'll simply need a cup or mug, a tea infuser, hot water boiled to 90 degrees and a sweetener of your choice.

Add a tablespoon of the chai mixture into your tea infuser and pour in the hot water.

Allow it to steep for 3-4 minutes. Once the tea is well infused, you can add a sweetener of your choice if you like. For an even lighter chai, you can add some warm milk.

MAKING CHAI IN A PAN

For a deeper, more traditional chai why not try it the way we make ours! By boiling the chai in a pan, you are allowing both the water and milk to boil and create a stronger cup of chai.

You'll need a pan, 1.5 cups of water per serving, milk and a sweetener of your choice.

In a pan, add the water and let the it come to the boil. Give the bag a good shake before opening.

Add one tablespoon of the chai blend per serving and some more for a stronger brew. Let this boil in the water for a further minute.

Now add milk of your choice, dairy or plant-based works well here too. We love ours with Oat milk. Add enough until your water turns a light brown shade. You can adjust the amount of milk too based on your preference.

Let it come to the boil, and then leave to brew on a low heat for 5 minutes. Your chai is now ready, simply strain into a teapot or cups and if you are adding it, the sweetener of your choice. Enjoy!
